Green silicon carbide(GC) is produced basically in the same way of black silicon carbide except the different requirement of raw materials. With higher purity of crystallization and hardness, when abrasive tools are of it, they are suitable of processing hard and brittle materials such as: hard alloy, titanium alloy, bearing steel as well as some non-metallic materials including: glass, agate, electrical ceramic, quartz products, rock. Green silicon carbide is also used as higher grade refractory materials, electrical heating element and elements for electrical appliances.
